ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has released its 2026 Women's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll. Nova Southeastern University was selected to finish second in the standings with 16 points and received one first-place vote.
NSU women's cross country enters the 2026 season looking to build on its strong tradition of success in the Sunshine State Conference. The Sharks will look to a talented group of returning runners, including Jillian Thorning and Jordan Stygar, as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
The Sharks slot into the preseason coaches' poll behind perennial favorite Tampa, which collected eight first-place votes in the poll. Embry-Riddle was selected third, followed by Florida Southern and Palm Beach Atlantic. Below are the full listing and rankings of the 2026 SSC Women's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll.
