LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Nova Southeastern Sharks traveled to Lakeland for the NCAA South Region Championship on Saturday morning. The women finished sixth overall, as SSC foe Palm Beach Atlantic finished first, and Lee University (TN) finished first on the men's side.

(Women's 6K)
- Jillian Thorning, fresh off an SSC Individual Championship and who was just named SSC Runner of the Year for the second time in a row, was the first Shark across the finish line, finishing fifth with a time of 21:31.28 to secure a top-five finish for NSU.
- Teammate Leena Saidi, who was also just named to the All-SSC First Team, finished 14th with a time of 22:02.70.
- Jordan Stygar, the freshly minted SSC Freshman of the Year, finished 30th with a time of 22:45.75.

(Men's 10K)
- Jaime Blazquez was the first Shark to cross the finish line, finishing 32nd with a time of 33:06.53 to lead the Sharks.
- Seth Roque-Munoz finished 39th with a time of 33:22.94.
