RESULTS
SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 1 Nova Southeastern men's golf team finished up their final round of play on Tuesday at the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. After 54 holes the Sharks finished fifth overall with a three-round team total of 963 (316-332-315).
After holding the top spot on the leaderboard after day one,
Ricardo Celia (Jr., Barranquilla, Columbia) slipped two spots, shooting a third-round 5-over 77 (70-73-77-220), finishing tied for third with teammate
Hunter O'Mahony (Fr., Jupiter, Fla.), who jumped five spots on the board from yesterday with the team's best round of 71. O’Mahony improved each round, shooting +4 (76-73-71-220).
James Swan (So., London, England) moved to 18th after the final round, shooting a +16 (75-82-75-232) while
Oscar Lengdèn (So., Helsingborg, Sweden), finishing out the four golfers that made the trip, shoot a three-round total of 291 (95-104-92), finishing 28th overall.
The Sharks will have two weeks to recover and regroup before their next tournament Monday, Feb. 25 at the Armstrong Pirate Invitational in Savannah, Ga.
