Box Score FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern women's tennis team got revenge on last year's loss to the Tampa Spartans with a 5-4 win on Friday afternoon at the NSU Tennis Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES:
- Daniela Obando and Andrea Ivanovic won their fifth consecutive doubles match following an 8-3 win over Caroline Lozo Corbin Dorsey at No. 1.
- Ana Navas and Isabella Lowrey gave the Sharks a 2-0 cushion at No. 2 with an 8-4 victory against Maddie Stevens and Vanina Lordanova.
- The Spartans prevented the sweep taking No. 3, 8-5.
SINGLES
- Ivanovic and Navas quickly increased the lead at 4-1 following 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-1 wins at No. 2 and 1.
- The Spartans responded however, taking at No. 5, cutting the lead in half 4-2.
- The Sharks though would not see their lead slip away as Obando clinched the match after a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Lordanova at No. 3
