ORLANDO, Fla. – No. 2 Nova Southeastern fired the low round of the afternoon on Tuesday en route to capturing second overall at the Rollins Legends Invitational. The Sharks were led by the play of
Valentina Albertazzi,
Nicola Fall and
Sofia Garcia Austt, who each tied for ninth individually, sending the team into its upcoming three-month break on a high note.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Sharks entered the morning just five shots off the lead, yet could never make enough off a push to catch Dallas Baptist, as the Patriots held on for the wire-to-wire win with a score of (+31) 895.
- NSU was the only other team to break 900 for the tournament, closing with a 54-hole total of (+35) 899.
- Host Rollins landed in third at 39-over par, while Barry (+40) and Lynn (+43) rounded out the Top-5 of the leaderboard.
- Synne Lauritzen of Saint Leo edged out Lynn's Matilda Wahren on the first playoff hole to earn medalist honors.
- Albertazzi, Fall and Garcia Austt each carded identical rounds of (+2) 74 on Tuesday to record Top-10 finishes.
- Hanna Ahlander and Mathilde Bertuol both tied for 37th overall at 20-over par for the tournament.
- Sol Santecchia placed 63rd while competing as an individual this week.
