HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • With scores of even-par, both Dallas Baptist and Saint Leo lead third-place Florida Southern by six strokes, while NSU (+11) and Tampa (+12) round out a Sunshine State Conference-laden Top-5.
  • Following an opening-round of even-par 72 to begin the day, Florida Southern's Amanda Gartrell fired a tournament-record 66 in the second round to grab a two-shot edge over Tampa's Kiira Riihijarvi atop the leaderboard at six-under par overall.
  • Sophomore Hanna Ahlander paced the Sharks on Monday, piecing together consecutive rounds of even-par 72 to position herself in 10th.
  • The Sharks' lone round of the day in red numbers belonged to Sofia Garcia Austt, who carded a one-under par 71 before adding a 74 in the afternoon. At one-over par for the tournament, Garcia Austt currently sits tied for 11th.
  • Just one behind Garcia Austt, and in a tie for 16th, is the nation's No. 1 player in Valentina Albertazzi. The freshman posted rounds of 74 and 72 on Monday.
  • Identical rounds of four-over 76 have Nicola Fall tied for 44th, with Mathilde Bertuol and Sol Santecchia, who is competing this week as an individual, in a six-way tie for 87th.
