HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Following an opening-round effort of (+14) 302, the Sharks collectively posted a (+22) 310 in round two to grab sole possession of 11th with 18 holes to play.
  • Three teams currently two-over par have forced a logjam atop the leaderboard, as Tampa, Wingate and Lynn have separated themselves by four shots over fourth-place Florida Southern (+6).
  • Understandably unable to match Sunday's ridiculous start that featured seven straight birdies, Calles shot four-over through the his first 12 holes Monday before finding some late life to enter the clubhouse still in red numbers.
  • An up-and-down day has Victor Jimenez tied for 25th, adding a round of 75 to Sunday's round of 73.
  • At 15-over par, Tomas Millet currently holds a share of 68th, while Jonny Cachon stands tied for 74th at 18-over.
STATS OF THE DAY:
  • The scoring average through the first two rounds of play is 76.20.
BEYOND THE SCORECARD:
  • Calles is one of just seven players currently under par.
  • Of the 15 teams in this week's field, five are ranked among the nation's Top-25.
