FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - In a rain-soaked day on the course, the 11th ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men's Golf team showed its resiliency through the first two rounds of the Shark Invitational from Grande Oaks Golf Club on Monday. NSU's "A-Team" consisting of
Elias Mardeni (4th/71/66),
Bruno Marques (6th/73/66),
Jorge Berea (12th/70/E),
Ivan Ponsdomenech (36th/75/E), and
Erik Plenge (54th/+2/+5) combined to shoot ten-under, ending the day in second place. The Sharks' "B-Team," which featured
James Humphries (12th/68/73), Will McGhie (22nd/70/74),
Christian Munoz (29th/76/69),
Aidan Millham (36th/73/73), and
William Ramstedt (36th/70/76), finished the evening in fourth place.

- Elias Mardeni was solid throughout the day, he recorded one birdie during his first round, while also adding 16 pars. In his second round, Mardeni totaled six birdies and 11 pars, shooting a 66.
- Bruno Marques totaled 16 pars in his opening round and followed with a bogey-free second round of action, where he recorded five birdies - including four on the back-nine.
- Jorge Berea tallied three birdies and 13 pars in his first round, shooting one-under. In the second round, Berea parred seven consecutive holes, while adding three birdies, and finished the day at one-under.
- Ivan Ponsdomenech cut four strokes off his first round total by recording four birdies in the second round and shooting a bogey-free back-nine.
- Erik Plenge shot a 73 and 77 in the first and second rounds.
- James Humphries totaled three birdies on both the front- and back-nines in the opening round of action. In his second round, Humphries tallied 16 pars.
- Will McGhie was one-under in his first round and shot a 74 in the second round.
- Christian Munoz recorded five birdies across two rounds of action.
- Aidan Millham shot a 73 in both the first and second rounds.
- William Ramstedt totaled seven birdies in the opening two rounds at the Sharks Invitational
