DADE CITY, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University men's golf team teed off in the Saint Leo Invitational on Monday morning. Nova Southeastern completed day one tied for ninth place (+5). Led by Jorge Berea in 4th place (-5).

Jorge Berea dominated round one, totaling seven birdies and ten pars in his first round. Including twelve straight holes resulting in a birdie or par.

In round two, Berea carried over the great start well, adding five more birdies to his daily total, ending the day in fourth place at five-under.

Bruno Marques began his first round with six consecutive pars, before birdies on holes seven and nine. Marques hit the turn and found a great rhythm, parring eight holes with a birdie.

Round two included two birdies and eleven pars, finishing play at one-over.

Elias Mardeni totaled three birdies on the front nine, and nine pars through the first round.

Mardeni, in round two, collected four birdies. Ending the day five-over.

Ivan Ponsdomenech totaled seven birdies between his two rounds. Completing play on day one of the tournament six-over.

Will McGhie collected two birdies in his first round, including a bogey-free front nine. Adding one birdie in the second round to finish the day seven-over.
