EATONTON, GA.– The Nova Southeastern University Sharks Men's Golf team teed off at the Bobcat Invitational on Monday morning finishing the first two rounds in fifth place (+14). Led by
Bruno Marques (E) in a tie for fourth place individually,
Ivan Ponsdomenech (+3) and
Elias Mardeni (+5) finished inside the top-25.

- Bruno Marques, (74/66) started off his tournament well with two birdies and a total of 11 pars in his first round.
- In round two Marques dominated, shooting bogey free through the twelfth hole with three birdies, adding in two more birdies and finishing the day even.
- Ivan Ponsdomenech, (72/71) began his day with three birdies and two pars on the first six holes, adding a birdie to his round one total on the back nine.
- Keeping a good pace Ponsdomenech collected four birdies in round two, wrapping up his day at three-over.
- Elias Mardeni (73/72) was solid through his first round, collecting an eagle and 12 pars.
- Mardeni hit the turn in his second round and was great, closing out his day bogey free with a birdie on 18, he finished five-over.
- Jorge Berea (75/71) had a total of four birdies in his two rounds, completing the day six-over.
- Will McGhie (84/73) collected a pair of birdies in his second round, shooting 17-over for the day.
