PENNSAUKEN, NJ. - The Nova Southeastern University women's rowing team turned in a strong performance at the Knecht Cup, highlighted by a pair of top-three finishes across the weekend.

In Saturday's Women's Club Four – Division I/II Heat 2, the Sharks' crew led by M. Petridi dominated the field, taking 1st place with a time of 8:14.25, finishing more than 31 seconds ahead of the next closest boat to advance to Sunday's final.
On Sunday morning, Nova returned for the Women's Club Four – Division I/II Final, where the Sharks battled against a competitive field and earned a 2nd-place finish in 8:30.14, finishing less than nine seconds behind Lafayette A.
Later in the afternoon, the Sharks competed in the Women's Club Eight – Division I/II Final, with the crew stroked by S. Robinson posted a strong race to finish 3rd overall in 7:59.08, trailing only Jefferson and Rhode Island.
