Rowing Sees Three Named to Academic All-District Teams

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – NSU Rowing continued its return to form this season with three rowers named to the College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Emma Hickey, V Robinson and Margianna Petridi were named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large team, which recognizes athletes that excel both athletically and academically.

The at-large distinction comes from smaller sports that not every college or university in the country may offer, such as golf and rowing.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be nominated for rowing/crew, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, must have accrued a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and must have competed in either 90% of a team's competitions or competed as a member of a 1V8, 2V8 or 1V4 boat at a conference or national regatta.

Of the three Shark selections, Margianna Petridi has been marked as eligible to be named a CSC Academic All-American which would be announced in July while members of the CSC vote on All-America status.
