Bond made her mark at NSU during the softball program’s twilight years competing in the Florida Sun Conference. Today, Bond is ranked among the program’s greatest sluggers and is still the program’s most decorated catcher.

Bond was a consistent force for the Knights batting .351 over a three-year career. She ended her stint with NSU with a .546 slugging percentage, which at the time sat atop the record book for all players with more than 400 at bats. Bond finished her career 47 doubles, 11 home runs and 123 RBI.

Bond broke out in her freshman season in 1999 earning All-Florida Sun Conference honors and guided her team to the NAIA National Tournament. She had her best season in 2000 when she hit a single-season record 25 doubles and earned NFCA All-American and Diamond Sports’ Catcher of the Year honors. Bond played her last season in 2001 where she received her second All-American honor after combining for 56 runs and RBI.

The Broward County native was a star in the classroom as she received Scholar All-American honors as a psychology major in her final season.
