Stephanie Sarosi's name continues to rest at or near the top of nearly all of the women's basketball record lists. In just three seasons with the Sharks, she ranks first in career field goals made (683) and blocked shots (266), third in points (1,655) and rebounds (806) and fifth in free throws made (269). She was only the third 1,000-point scorer in history, and was twice named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009. All three years, she was All-SSC First Team and Daktronics, Inc. All-South Region First Team. Daktronics, Inc. also chose her as a 2009 All-American.
In 2008, she led the Shark women to their first-ever SSC regular season and conference tournament titles, was named the SSC Championship MVP, and the team qualified for their first NCAA South Regional Tournament appearance during the NCAA era. The following year (2009), she set the all-time mark for points scored in a single-season (621), which holds to this day, and she dominates the single-season marks for blocked shots (first, second and third) and field goals made

(first, second and fourth). Additionally, she has the only triple double in women's program history, with 32 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocked shots which she set at Florida Tech on January 21, 2009.
She graduated from NSU with bachelor's degrees in biology (2011), exercise & sport science (2011), and vision science (2015). This past May, she earned her doctorate of optometry degree. She is currently completing an optometry residency in primary care at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Greenville, South Carolina.
