Sandra Changkija completed her four-year golfing career at NSU as one of the 13281most decorated student-athletes not only in NSU Athletics, but NCAA history. She is the only NCAA DI, DII or DIII golfer to earn four straight outright National Player of the Year honors, recognized with this prestigious honor by PING/WGCA each of her four years with the program (2008-2011) and was the WGCA National Freshman of the Year in 2008. She was also a four-time WGCA First Team All-American, one of only three in NSU history, and was part of three NCAA National Championship-winning squads (2009, 2010, 2011). Changkija also became the first-ever women's golfer to win an individual national title, which she accomplished in 2010 when the Sharks won their second national championship.

13282Changkija was a two-time Sunshine State Conference Female Athlete of the Year and the SSC Women's Golfer of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Four times she was named All-SSC First Team (2008-11), and helped lead her squad to the SSC Championship in 2008, 2010 and 2011. Still to this day, she holds program career records for lowest scoring average (73.79), most individual wins (16), most par or better rounds (43), most birdies (328) and most eagles (6). She has single-season scoring average marks that still rank first, second and fourth in women's golf history, and she finished No. 1 in all of DII twice during her collegiate career.

She graduated from NSU with a bachelor's degree in business management. She is currently in her 5th season on the LPGA Tour and resides in Orlando, Florida.
